About the authors:

The painter restorer Michael Nikolov

He is descendant of an old priestly family wood carvers and iconographers. He graduated Theology at the Sofia University in 1995 - Master Theologian and study old Hebrew, Latin, old Greek, old Bulgarian, Slavonian, old Russian and English.

In the time 1995-1999 Specialized Christian Art, and restoration of cultural monuments in Greece and Cyprus.

He has published articles related to restoration work on history on technologies of restoration of museum objects, oil paintings, icons, churches and monasteries.

He has some scenaries for documentary films, articles in newspapers and interviews on the radio; all related to restoration.

Teacher and lecturer in Theology, Restoration and conservation, Icons painting and Murals painting. 

Bearer of international universally acknowledgements /Master of Arts, Master specialist of icon painting, oil painting and wall painting, painter restorer conservator of cultural monuments, gold plating/. 

He has been awarded more than 25 honour certificates for preservation, support and development of museum activities and the cultural heredity of Bulgaria and abroad.

The artist of fine art Tsveta Petrova

She graduated National Academy of Art in 1999 in Sofia.

Major painting in the class of professor Andrei Daniel.

She has participated in numerous exhibitions.

Most of her works are in private collections.

She won first prize for the drawing on the topic ”The youth meet Europe” organized by Open Society.

Her preferable techniques are water colour, tempera, oil and acril composed with different type of materials. Tsveta Petrova outlines her own style with tendency of constant change that Provokes experimenting in different techniques. 

Tsveta Petrova graduated English language and literature (postgraduate) in 2003 in Sofia University st. Kliment Ohridski She specialized English language in Maynflower College in England.

At present she is recognised as a teacher of English and fine art, icon-painter, Master of arts and  translator.

Tsveta Petrova passed an exam Master - Iconography and Mural at National Craft Chamber that is prestige for the profession of every artist.

All our specialists are graduated theology, restoration, fine art and they have specialization in this field.

They have certificates for master degree from National Craft Chamber - city Sofia, in confirmation of that their works respond to European requirements of quality and international certificates.
